Halen's 13th Birthday

It was this sweet man’s birthday this past weekend and he loved the attention!!

Non speaking does not mean non verbal… look at that smile!!

My son pointed to the letters on his letter board and spelled “please” when I asked him if he wanted a party.

It was noisy, the dog barked at all the comings of the guests and the overall party was a lot of loud sensory stimuli but he did great and he was happy. He felt very grateful for those who came.. some had a 2 hour drive to celebrate him and he clearly appreciated it!
